Sweet Retreat
Escape the day in layered, thoughtfully designed baths.

Designer Nicola Harding envisioned this powder room as a private, contemplative space with a dramatic edge. The room, with its opulent palette and reflective surfaces, creates an intoxicating atmosphere with layers of antiqued surfaces, maximalist prints, and comfortable furnishings. Harding collaborated with Drummonds for this room in the WOW!House 2025 at Design Centre Chelsea Harbour in London. The brand’s Grand Union double vanity cabinet, designed by Harding, is topped off with the Chessleton basin mixer and Round Tilt mirror.

Left: A moody, modern powder room, designed by Dorka Standard in the Art of the Home show house in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey, is layered with natural textures, deep colors, and rich finishes. The border-lit mirror gives off a disco vibe, and overhead, pendant lighting from Visual Comfort, through Ferguson Home, dangles provocatively like a sculptural necklace. Faucet by Kallista, also through Ferguson Home.
Right: Cynthia Peralta-Brito was inspired by a visit to Granada, Spain, for her Verdant Veil powder room in the Art of the Home show house in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey. She incorporated Spanish and Moorish designs and enveloped the intimate space in shades of green, layering texture, pattern, and finishes throughout. Faucet by Kallista, through Ferguson Home.
